Seoul Luxury Shopping Guide

Plan a luxury shopping visit to Seoul around authorised retail, Korean sizing, service and return-home checks.

Local buying notes

  1. Find official retail first
  2. Check fit and product language
  3. Use care and service as purchase criteria
  4. Plan what happens after the trip
01

Find official retail first

Use each brand's Korean store locator and confirm opening, appointment and stock details directly. For limited or seasonal pieces, ask for the exact model code, materials and warranty conditions in writing rather than relying on social posts.

02

Check fit and product language

Clothing and footwear sizing differs across brands and regions. Try the exact item, compare measurements in centimetres and check the return policy before alterations. For cosmetics and fragrance, confirm ingredients, volume and local product labelling.

03

Use care and service as purchase criteria

Ask whether repair or warranty work can be completed in Korea or your home market. Keep invoices, product codes and service documents. For pre-owned purchases, request a condition scale explanation and evidence for the actual item.

04

Plan what happens after the trip

Exchange rates, payment fees, tax-refund conditions, baggage rules and destination import requirements change. Check official information before purchase and before departure; do not treat a tax refund as an exemption from declaring goods at home.
